In the mountainous areas of Pujiang county, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power is promoting the construction of public charging stations to ensure the green development of tourism.
As a part of efforts to establish an intelligent and convenient rural charging infrastructure system, the power supply company is also accelerating the layout of rural passenger transportation distribution centers and charging pile networks in some key scenic areas. Tourists can use charging equipment next to homestays to charge their new energy vehicles.
State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power is also supporting various investment entities to participate in the construction of such charging stations.
Such efforts will help villagers to use charging stations without leaving the villages and improve the rural power grid network structure. These actions can also elevate the reliability and automation of equipment and enhance load access capacity.
In the first half of the year, the company invested a total of 6.37 billion yuan ($869.9 million) in the construction and renovation of rural power grids, serving new energy vehicles in rural areas and rural revitalization.
