Gou Ping Meets with Nguyen Canh Toan, Vice Chairman of CMSC for SOE Cooperation

Gou Ping, Vice Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), met with a delegation of senior executives from Vietnamese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) led by Nguyen Canh Toan, Vice Chairman of Vietnam's Committee for Management of State Capital of Enterprises (CMSC), in Beijing on Dec 5.

Gou said that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the SOEs of the two countries have engaged in pragmatic cooperation with mutual benefits and win-win results in various fields. He added that SASAC is willing to further consolidate the foundation for bilateral exchanges, deepen bilateral cooperation, bolster multilateral collaboration, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the reform of SOEs, technological innovation, green development, and the security of industrial and supply chains while building more excellent projects to promote the high-quality economic and social development of the two countries, and advance the building of a closer China-Vietnam community with a shared future.

Nguyen expressed thanks to China for its long-term support for Vietnam. He said that SASAC-supported seminar for senior executives from Vietnamese SOEs yielded fruitful results and benefited Vietnamese attendees a lot. He went on to say that Vietnam looks forward to further deepening the ministerial-level dialogue mechanism between the two sides, enhancing bilateral exchanges in strategic planning and the human resource development for international operations, and engaging in practical cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.

Representatives of Chinese and Vietnamese SOEs participated in the meeting and exchanged views with each other.
