According to China Southern, more than 20 foreign flight attendants from Malaysia, Japan and South Korea are expected to work for this year's Spring Festival travel rush.

Since 2023, China Southern has welcomed more and more foreign flight attendants to provide friendly and careful service for passengers.

Chiang Mei Kuen said that her hometown is South China's Guangdong Province and her ancestors settled down in Malaysia in the 1400s when Zheng He, China's greatest naval explorer, visited by sail over 30 states along the coasts of the West Atlantic and Indian Oceans. She added that she is able to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Malaysian and English and it is no problem for her to communicate with passengers.

In addition to the new looks of the flight attendants, China Southern launched a series of new services to give more attention and care for children and elderly passengers.

What's more, in response to the upcoming Spring Festival, the company plans to organize Spring Festival-themed activities on nearly 50 specific flights departing from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other 14 cities.

The cabin will be decorated with Spring Festival decorations and special festival food will be served during the journey, providing passengers with a special travel experience and giving them good wishes for the Chinese New Year.
