The renovation project of the coastal highway in Jamaica contracted by China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Ltd., has been put into service.

Connecting Kingston, the capital, and key cities like Mandeville and Bull Bay, it is the largest infrastructure project in Jamaica and a key passage for coordinated development of the country’s East and West coasts.
The project covered a total length of 163.5 kilometers and included upgrading and renovation of the subgrade, the road surface, bridges, traffic security and electromechanical engineering.
