Chinese airplanes ARJ21 and C919, developed by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), arrived on March 13 in Malaysia for display and a demonstration flight.
The airplanes had flown from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia.
Senior officials of the Malaysian government and representatives from local enterprises visited the cabins of the airplanes.
Carrying out demonstration flights on China-developed commercial airplanes is a main way of enabling their adaptation to airports and air routes in Southeastern countries, the suitability of the ground service devices at different airports, and adaptability of the special flight procedures.
