Utilizing such advanced technologies as domestic fully autonomous TD-LTE, traction network control, air braking, wireless synchronized control, the test is a new productive force born from the deep transformation and upgrading of the industry in constructing multifunctional modern comprehensive energy transportation channels.

The Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway, connecting the coal base of Shanxi province and Huanghua Port in Hebei province, is China's second largest channel for coal transport. It bears the important mission of ensuring the national energy supply. The number of freight trains with a load capacity of 20,000 metric tons along the Shuozhou-Huanghua railway has exceeded 100,000 journeys, transporting over 1.1 billion tons of coal.

The application of such advanced technologies as heavy-duty railway mobile block signaling, automatic driving, intelligent transportation management and maintenance have strongly promoted the innovative development of China's heavy-duty transportation technology.

The test run will play a positive role in improving the nation’s transportation capacity and exploring heavy-duty transportation technology.
