Six trucks carrying 200 tons of 15.7-1860 prestressed steel strands recently departed from Xinyu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (Xinsteel), a subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited (China Baowu), and bound for Kazakhstan.
According to data, Xinsteel has shipped 1,466 tons of metal products to overseas markets so far this year — a more than fourfold year-on-year increase — setting a five-year high in export orders.
Xinsteel is actively promoting high value-added specialty products such as galvanized steel strands and LNG cryogenic steel strands. These products have not only been sold to countries including Malaysia, Nepal, and Poland, but have also broken into new markets such as Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Nigeria.
To seize overseas opportunities, Xinsteel has capitalized on its integrated production, sales, and R&D capabilities to provide customized services such as priority scheduling. It also ensures full-process tracking from order placement and production to logistics and customer use. Taking the Kazakhstan shipment as an example, it is the second batch of a 400-ton order, with six trucks arranged for customer pickup.
By optimizing loading and unloading procedures and setting up temporary storage areas, the company managed to deliver an additional 200 tons in a single day — significantly boosting efficiency. Thanks to this prompt and high-quality service, the company secured a third order for another 200 tons.
