Supporting education and empowering youth
From Vietnam to Italy, Sinochem Holdings subsidiaries are improving educational opportunities. Syngenta Vietnam supported local schools and provided supplies to minority students. Adisseo donated 179 pairs of shoes to children in Yunnan’s mountainous areas. Prometeon employees in Italy joined a marathon relay to raise funds for SOS Children’s Villages, while Elkem France supported the Lyon Heroes Run to aid firefighter orphans.

Volunteering and emergency services
Many employees are engaged in emergency and volunteer services. In Germany, KraussMaffei employee Benedikt serves as a volunteer firefighter, while in China, Liao Li from Guilin Rubber Machinery Co., Ltd. has spent over a decade rescuing flood victims and fighting wildfires.

Environmental and green initiatives

In the United States, Elkem North America launched the “We R the Change” campaign to promote recycling. In Germany, KraussMaffei donated €6,000 to the Turtle Foundation to support sea turtle conservation.
