This milestone highlights a new chapter in China-Malaysia rail transit cooperation and stands as a testament to the deepening friendship between the two countries.

To ensure smooth operations, CRRC ZELC has put in place a dedicated service support plan. Once operational, travel between Kuala Lumpur and Johor will become faster and more convenient, providing a significant boost to local economic and social development and enhancing regional connectivity.

With a maximum operating speed of 160 km/h, the ETS3 offers superior acceleration, energy efficiency, and reliability. It is equipped with a backup high-capacity battery that can support emergency lighting and ventilation systems for up to two hours when the overhead line is unavailable.

With technology-driven innovation, CRRC will continue to provide intelligent, green, and full life-cycle solutions for Malaysia’s rail sector.
