The tower is expected to be topped out by the end of 2025, reaching 350 meters, and is set to become the world’s tallest suspension bridge tower.

The Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge is located in East China’s Jiangsu Province. Stretching 7.9 kilometers across the river, it connects Zhangjiagang City in Suzhou, Jingjiang City in Taizhou and Rugao City in Nantong. The cross-river section includes two navigation bridges, with the southern navigation bridge spanning 2,300 meters.

Once open to traffic, travel time between Zhangjiagang and Rugao will be reduced from one hour to just 20 minutes, boosting integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta and improving the region’s cross-river transport capacity.
