On January 13, the world's first 20-megawatt offshore wind turbine unit was successfully installed in the waters south of Fujian Province. This marks China’s first installation of a 20-megawatt offshore wind turbine unit, a significant breakthrough in the country's development of ultra-high-capacity units and offshore construction capabilities.
Recently, a batch of Hewlett-Packard electronic products successfully completed a trial run of the first cross-border multimodal shipment from China to Thailand via the Lancang-Mekong Express on the China-Laos Railway. On January 11, the Tianma-1000 unmanned transport aircraft, developed by Xi’an Aisheng Technology Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary under China North Industries Group Corporation Limited, completed its maiden flight. As the country’s first medium and large-sized unmanned aircraft designed for medium-altitude, cost-effective transportation, it has achieved exceptional versatility, such as complex plateau terrain adaptation, ultra-short takeoff and landing distances, and rapid switching between cargo transport and airdrop modes.

The SGUI, a new generation air ticket distribution system developed by China TravelSky Holding Company Limited (TravelSky), was launched to replace the “Eterm” system after nearly 30 years of service. This transition marks a significant shift from reliance on foreign technology to full independent control with domestically developed solutions in China’s civil aviation core distribution system.
